Happy New Year from the team at Dulac Dental:
We hope you had a nice holiday and were able to relax and spend time with family. I wanted to provide some updates as we go into the first quarter of 2023.
2023 Q1 Schedule:
Open: Martin Luther King Jr Day on January 16 and Presidents Day on February 20
Dr Dulac out: Thursday February 16 and Thursday March 16 (continuing education)
Closed: Spring Break April 3-7 (Fairfax and Loudoun County School Spring Breaks)
2023 Payor and Payment Updates:
In 2023, we will continue to be in network with Cigna, Aetna, Delta, and GEHA (connection dental). March 1 we will convert to Delta’s premier fee schedule. We also take Medicare advantage and a number of other PPO plans. We also offer an in house savings plan for those without dental insurance and continue to offer third party financing options.
And we now have a payment link on our website to pay bills online!!!
Clinical Updates:
There’s currently an explosion of 3D printing and 3D printed materials in dentistry. Many new materials will be hitting the market in 2023. Ceramics still offer a superior option for most cases, and we will continue to provide our ceramic crowns in house with CEREC. One advantage of printed resins over ceramics is for no-prep veneers. They can be made thinner, completely reversible, and without any tooth preparation (much thinner than ceramic). As new methods and material hit the market, Dr Dulac will continue to stay on top of printed resin solutions with the leading experts in the United States.
Staff Updates:
Our veteran staff continues to be committed to customer service: Deb and Caroline up front, Nadjma our hygienist, and Erica our assistant. We’ve been really fortunate to have found a great hygienist in Hien. She joined us last year and hope to have her with us until she retires. Leigh retired last year and will be moving to Virginia Beach this Spring. We wish her and her husband David the best. Dr Dulac continues to search for another assistant as kind and proficient as Leigh and Erica.
