Dr. Dulac has a Biolase Waterlase® Laser in the office. The laser is a great adjunct to traditional periodontal therapies to help with gum disease. It can also be used for other minor gum surgeries and to remove annoying canker sores.
With laser periodontal therapy, a tiny laser fiber (about the thickness of three hairs) is inserted between the tooth and the gum. The procedure is fast: It takes just minutes following a cleaning or scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) procedure.
